PPR fitting likes other general plastic pipes with the advantages of light weight, corrosion resistance, not scaling and long service life etc. They still have the following main features:
1, Non-toxic, sanitation. Molecules of PPR pipe materials only include carbon and hydrogen elements, without harmful and toxic elements in them. They can be used not only in cold hot water piping system but also in pure water pipe system.
2, Heat preservation and heat insulation. The coefficient of thermal conductivity PPR pipes is 0.21 w/mk, only equalto 1/200 of steel tube.
3, Good heat resistance. PPR pipes' vicat softening point is 131.5 Celsius degree and theirmaximum operating temperature can reach Celsius degree, so they can meet the service requirements of the drain/supply water piping system.
4, Long service life. Under the conditions of working temperature 70 Celsius degree and pressure (P. N) 1. OMPa, their PPR pipes' use life can reach 50 years, if normal temperature (20 Celsius degree), it can come up to 100 years.
5, Easy installation and solid connection. Because of their weldability, pipes and fittings can be connected by hot melting and electric smelting. So it is easy for installation and its conjunction sites are stronger than pipe itself.
